Oh yeah a more final note for the day would be I did something I never had conducted before…Wanna guess? I will give you a hint I needed to purchase one of these.
I got so distracted from lane splitting for about 45 minutes that I took my mind off the need for fuel. I guess that was GOD’s way of saying that the 1 mile that I conducted in the emergency lane was wrong. Or was the the CHIPS officer that pulled in front of me while lane splitting when he saw me in the emergency lane. Either way I paid but was lucky.
The fuel stop was further than I had thought. Traffic was backed up and it would be a 5 mile walk one way. A man and his wife who were bikers too pulled over and not only give me a ride there with traffic backed up but back too. I was blown away and very thankful. Tried to show some appreciation but they would not have it. I have something else in mind for them since I was given their card.
