I'm not understanding the purpose of the thread.  What possible issue could there be that would be limited to only SESG's?  The wiring is the same as the other e-glides, the fairing is the same, and the opener hardware is the same.  Perhaps if you explain exactly what you're looking for folks could chime in with some helpful information.

The issue was as MJ described on his SG.  MJ's low beam is not working but on high beam both bulbs are illuminated.  The opener is working but the low beam is not.  I have same bike and am trying to confirm the opener and headlights are fully compatable and functional with the bike.  I recall seeing someone with an issue related to the opener and HID lights.  We both have the OEM lights, I'm not sure if they are considered HID's or not.  I don't know if all CVO's have the same headlight thus the post under SG, the bike I own.  I'm not really interested in knowing the opener works on bikes other than the SG.

Actually you are; or should be.  Since all the Electra Glide models will share the same harness, method of connection and light they expand your accurate data set.

Mine is installed on a 2007 FXSTSSE and mine stopped working about 10 days ago. I checked the fuse and it is fine. I haven't checked to see if all the wiring is still good yet as I have to remove my fricking tank to do that..... Oh, it has only been on my bike since October......

Some of the SESGs have the wrong harness in them. I can tell you that I know this to the tune of 400.00. The best way to go about this problem is to take it completely off and take it to dealer and have them install the opener. Make sure you tell them to use the garage door pigtail that is provided on the bike. H-D will not even send you the correct harness if you do the work yourself. But when the dealer call the motor co they will know what the problem is , courtesy of me.
