New 2010 Spiced Rum FLHXSE owner from Virginia...

Hi CVO Owners... I am new to your club... Saw the 2010 FLHXSE in Spiced Rum this past weekend and couldn't get it out of my head.  I called the dealer and put a deposit on it.

Also ordered the King Tour Pack and rear speaker kit, Rinehart True Dual pipes and a few other various comfort items (windshield bag, etc).

Coming off a 2002 Custom FXST that had the 95" big bore kit, SE heads, Cams, Python3 exhaust, Mikuni Carb, big rear tire etc.  That bike ran great, 100 hp / 103 lbft of torque.  The StreetGlide has a bit more heft, but I am hoping the 110" motor will do the job!

Well, back to looking at accessories!

Nice to meet y'all (I am originally from Boston, but figured I'd try out some of the local lingo!)

Welcome to the site glad to have you join us and congrats on getting your SESG. :2vrolijk_21: Where abouts in Va are you located and what dealer did you get your bike from? I visited 4 dealerships on Saturday and saw one Spiced Rum on the floor... just wondering if that was the dealership (Waugh). If so you might be close to me. ;D

Ha... yes Waugh is the dealer... I was there around 10:00 AM on Sat... rode (on a rental POS ElectraGlide Classic) out from Richmond and then did Skyline Drive from Route 15 south to BRParkway to Route 60 back to Richmond... long great day of riding!

How is Waugh for a dealership?  Like I said, I am not from this area... so I am kind of feeling my way around blindly!  They seemed ok... hopefully the techs are good.

What a coincidence. ;D Can't really speak on the techs as I've never had my bike serviced there. I deal more with Shenandoah for service, but I visit Waugh's often and Don "Big Daddy" Waugh is an alright guy. They have some nice events and one is coming up on June 19th (18th Annual Big Damn Bike Show) that you should try to attend. If you ever come this way again send me a PM (Personal Message) and I'll try to meet/ride w/you.

Welcome to the site from Fredericksburg. :)  I bought my 02 Ultra from Waugh.  Good dealership with a "good 'ole boy" attitude.  Don "Big Hoss" Waugh will sit and shoot the bull with ya forever.  Great guy.  The techs there are pretty good, in fact I'd say above average for most techs.  I still do some business out at Waugh even though I bought my two CVOs at Richmond North.  Where do you live in VA?
