I was just at the dealer looking at my bike.  I was going to have the tour pack removal hardware put on so I could take the tour pack off.
They don't think the amplifier will fit underneath the bracket without hitting the fender.   I'd prefer to keep it since I paid for it.
Does it fit? What did you guys do?

It does not fit "under the bracket". I have it installed in the right saddlebag.

Ride safely,

One of our members here has done it AND mounted the amp under the detach TP mount. Try sending a PM to Bluegoose He did figure out how to do it on his 2010 RipTanium. There are some pictures of his install on here somewhere just can't remember where.

Check reply #6 to the above thread.  There is room to mount the amp if you turn it 90 degrees and make a couple of brackets to mount it.  You will need to decide how you want to mount the license plate frame since the brackets supplied with the kit will not work.  I was originally going to use a Kuryakyan lay down mount which will work if mounted right above the tail light.  Then I went a different direction and changed to the SG rear fender and extended saddle bags.

The attached picture shows my bike with the tour pak on.  If you look closely you can see the amp under the tour pak mount.

Let me know if I can help.

Hey Bluegoose.  So if you remove your tourpack and amp. then you have no front speakers either correct?

I'm told that all the speakers run through the amp. so if you remove the amp. you have nothing.

I'm trying to find a solution that I will still be able to use the front speakers.  Suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

Not true.  All you do is switch the wires to power the front speakers by the radio.  Very easy to do.

When you put the tour pack on the amp will power the rear speakers.

Bluegoose, very nice rear end on your bike. How about telling us how you got that setup with the matching bags that look like their off an SERG and fender on an Ultra all color matched? Very Nice. Thanks

Basically ordered SG rear fender and fascia and extended bags.  All the parts except license plate are from Harley.  I ordered through Zanotti HD to get the 20% or better discount.

Boitnotts out of Fairfield Ohio did the paint match.

I also made the tour pack removable.

Thanks for the information. Your painter appears to have nailed the paint match. I'd like to do similar with my bike's colors. Do the fender, fascia and extended bags fit the 09 SE Ultra? thanks again.

Thanks - I'm very happy with the way the paint turned out.

The extended bags are part # 92003-10BDK they fit '93 and later touring models equipped with hard saddle bags so they will fit with no problem.

The fender is part # 60463-09A and the fascia is part # 60465-09.  They are from a 2010 SG - my guess is they should fit - but you will need to check to make sure.

Hey Bluegoose.  What seat & backrest do you have?  P/n's if you have them.  Was thinking about SG seat but yours looks more comfy.

The seat is stock - not very comfy - at least my part.  Wife says her part is comfy.  I'm looking for something better.

The back rest is part # 52627-09 for detachable upright and part # 52924-98A for pad
