And I'm about to pee my pants with excitement.
This is my second post following the intro of last week. For those not interested in intro's I've ordered a 2010 Spiced Rum SESG and it's getting close.
I went to the dealer this weekend and the nice salesman offered me his Spiced Rum for a test ride and then showed me that mine that had arrived that morning. It's been a while since my Road King and I pounded the roads of CA and WOW what a difference from the chassis, the engine, the handling etc etc.
I'd gone to the dealer on my chop (20 miles each way) and after laying 2500 cobbles saturday morning with a buddy I was fit for naff all other than a sleep. So I get there all tired and pissy, reluctantly jumped on the SESG and WTF? I could not believe the difference between any bike I've ever ridden and I get to ride my own in just a few days. He was lucky I went back - the thought of riding my chop back home was enough to keep me out on the longest test ride. On top of this I called for insurance and the SESG is the least expensive of all the toys to run, insure, tax and service - is this heaven or what?
Ordered my HO V&H pipes, the SE fueler (no idea what that is) and so long as the mechanic's do their bit to further my inflated ego by Friday me and my new babe should be knocking out a few miles.
