Thank you kindly.  Called the dealer and they have one in stock.  Damn, guess I will have to leave work for a while.  I should have never looked at that photo.

I dunno, the red is a dark-ish color scheme, so I'm sure it will stand out and look just fine.

However, having said that, it is a well known fact (at least among those who own one) that the starlight black/cobalt blue color combo is the best SEEG paint scheme! [smiley=lolk.gif]  What is not so well known is that this color combo also produces a smidgen (technical term) more HP and TQ than the other colors. [smiley=wink3.gif]  The only downside appears to be that we b/b owners have a few more occurances per capita of peeling chrome, but that is likely due to the higher top speeds we are able to achieve (due to more HP/TQ mentioned above) which tends to blow the chrome off the bike. [smiley=ROFLOL.gif]

So obviously you are not aware that the Harley's racing team colors are orange and black
[smiley=oops.gif]
and that they save those colors for use within their superior products line (used on only the rarest of occassions because these motors are so fast that lives could be at stake [smiley=yes.gif]) [smiley=oops.gif]

oh yeah by the way that is TOP SECRET information available only to top level MOCO executives.

It's true that both blue/black and orange/black are secret (apparenty not soooo secret) high performance/chrome peeling colors that all in their right mind might aspire too.  Even less well known, however, is the super secret psychometric/sociodemographic potentiality curve (PSPC) of the upcoming red SEEGs.  They'll go only that smidgen (again, a technical term) slower than the blue/black or orange/black but that smidgen is engineered in for a precise reason.  It is just the amount necessary for the bike to be able to appropriately and completely attract a young lady's attention and allow her time to decide to hop on.  A guy has to have his priorities after all  [smiley=beerchug.gif] .

Everyone knows that Orange and Black are the racing colours reserved for super quick models such as the 883 Sportster  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

I remember seeing that (or a similar) limit in the owners manual.  Trying to find an answer for you on changing the limit.

Merely offering testament to what a few others had already said regarding the floorboard extenders.  I had the bolts and spacers in my dirty little hand thinking "ah, these can't make any real difference."  While stretched out on the garage floor looking up at the bugs I'd missed on the bottom of the tank and continued to think the same thing.

After half an hour or so of mumbling to one's self about their expected lack of effect I got on the bike and was really surprised.  You really feel the difference and notice right off the bat.  Some squirming I was doing due to some minor hip discomfort that I was blaming on the seat was actually better just because I was now laying my legs a bit wider.  Knew the original positions were uncomfortable.  But very much surprised that such a little change allowed for such a marked difference.  Thanks to whomever initially recommended these things.  $40.00 was a big price for what turned out to be less than a half dozen bolts and a half dozen spacers.  But it's a cheap price for parts that fit and are unobtrusive once on and that give the more important addition of a more comfortable ride.
