Am I the only one to notice the cruise control won't work past 90 mph. Anyone know how to change that limit ?

Yeah I haven't had any success at 90 either, but it will work at 89 (I haven't read the manual yet, I probably need to put that in the bathroom I guess) [smiley=confused5.gif]

I know we've talked about this some elsewhere (different thread).  But this thing is showing only 2800 RPM at 70 mph to begin with.  When am I ever going to need a six speed?

Well, while sitting here trying to get a little work done this morning (and occasionally being notified by my search script that there were new messsages on the board here that JUST must be looked at immediately) my feeble mind finally wandered to the point of pulling the trigger on the King tour pak for the red bike.  The chopped pak may look better (or may not depending on your personal preference), but it's like Gennifer Flowers described Bill Clinton's penis; soooooo short.

Obvious things like lock hardware and a backrest will also have to be acquired.  But can someone that has purchased one tell me if the CVO emblem on the lid comes with it?  Or will I need to try and find a part number for that thing too?

Thanks boys.

Twolane, when I ordered and got my matching King Tour Pak it came painted to match and with a lock (that I had to have re-keyed to match mine) but I'm not sure which CVO emblem that you are referring too.  I don't believe mine has any emblem (I'm still in bed, so can't go check it).

Yo TwoLaneRider.........Aint seen no emblems on the lids of Eagle Tourpaks yet.  Maybe if you saw one on a bike it was just the rear fender emblem that someone added.  Maybe they changed something for the 05 models but have seen a teal 05 with a king pak and no emblem.

The emblem (I'm sorry, cloissonne [sic?]) I was thinking about was that piece on the lid that reads "Screamin' Eagle Electra Glide"  If I remember right it's got the strangled duck emblem between the words "Eagle" and "Glide."  It's comes on the lids of the chopped tour paks on the 05s.

Good grief, was that necessary?!?
