Took my bike back into the dealer last week for a number of issues:
1. Wrong back rest installed - HD Warrantied it.
2. Wrong back rest tore new seat...still waiting on HD.
3. Left blinker malfunctioning, sometimes just goes on on its own, sometimes doesn't work at all.
4. 6th speed light and cruise control work intermittently w/ PCV hooked up, no problems without PCV.
5. Broken clutch retainer pin...no idea how that happened?
Got a call from the dealer the next day saying that bike was done, come get it. Drove the 30 miles to my dealer to pick the bike up only to find that they put on the new back rest, fixed the clutch pin and "could not duplicate" the other items. This is the 3rd time the bike has been into the shop for the PCV/cruise issue.
When I questioned the service tech his comment was that nothing showed on the computer as a problem with the blinker, and that he was "tired of f$%*ing with the PCV/Cruise Control problem, that's my fault for using a bad product like the PCV." Needless to say, I had a meltdown of epic proportions in the service area, so much that the service manager on duty walked me out of the service area to my car, where my wife was waiting for me. I told him to keep the #$%@!%& $32,000 piece of crap until it was fixed. The next day...no call, no apology, nothing. The day after the head of the service department called to confirm that they are able to duplicate both problems, but can't figure out why on either of them. He did apologize, recognized that he felt that the two items were unrelated (another push back on the PCV), but IMO, too little too late.
I even had the mechanic who installed the PCV call them to offer to help work on the problem together, and the Service Manager refused to do so. So here I sit on a nice Sunday afternoon, no bike again...and no fix to my problems.
Sorry for the rant, but I'm more than a bit frustrated at this point

I think I'll give them until Wednesday this week and the go get the bike and try a dealer that is willing to work with me on both problems. After a call to HD Customer Service.
