I got my bike on thanksgiving weekend. Thought I would pass along a few issues I've had so far.
- First one was on the tour pak, the manufactur left out a piece of foam in the the right side panel. This caused you to see 3 indents embossed from the screws underneath. Dealer replaced the lid to correct that.
- My garage door transmitter was not working from day one. I know it was the transmitter becuase my other bike has one and I verifed the receiver ok. Got that replaced yesterday, need to test it this weekend.
- My cd player skips when at freeway speed. Works fine sitting or at street speed. The dealer ( Vacaville ) says they've heard a few reports of 06 units skipping. They submitted that to the vendor and am waiting to hear about replacement.
- Either since replacing the tour pak lid or maybe all along, there is a tight rub between a spot on the lid and base when closed that has already caused a 1/2 inch tear in the leather of the base. This is on the inside edge near the passengers back right side. Pictures being submitted to the factory now.
As much as I love the look of the tour pak I think it's going to be the biggest source of wear and tear.
