Help alarm won't disarm

Hi all my 07 Rik alarm wont disarm so I can start the bike any advice will help don't want to go to the steelers for help

Dog,

Try replacing the battery in the security fob.  If that doesn't do it, use the PIN method outlined in the owner's manual (only if you know the PIN?).

Thanx it is the 3 volt. Batt inside  the fob

Mine done the samething last weekend, Batt in both key fob's at the same time. Would have been up chit creek if that happened out in the middle of nowhere. :2vrolijk_21:

That's a battery that you definately want to change "before you need to".  Don't ask me how I'd know. :nervous:

If you've programmed your security system w/a personal code then you should be able to deactivate it w/that code. Check your owners manual to see how to set that up and in the back of the owners manual you should see a card that you can carry in your wallet where you can write in your code.  When I purchased my bike there was actually a card they gave me separate from the one in the owners manual where I could record that code and keep in my wallet.
