Oil Temperature Gauge Sending Unit Question

Does anyone know an automotive cross reference part number for the sending unit used in Harley oil temp gauge kits?  Was just asked if I knew and I don't.  Apparently Mother Harley charges something like $40 for a sending unit that's probably on an AutoZone shelf five bucks if we just knew a cross reference.
