I think you're doing the right thing holding out for a little better price...just bought my 2008 SERK with 960 miles on it for $20,000.  His price of 20,200 is better than a dealer will offer (this is the same dealers that want to charge you more than MSRP on the new black SEUC), but there are a lot of 2007's out there with less miles than 13,000.  They're starting to show up on eBay more frequently.   

I think you got a steal, and a 08 at that.

Seems like a fair price. I would sell my 2008 SERK for $21K-$22K and the local dealer is not that far off on a trade in price towards a new bike. I love the SERK but I'm tempted by the SERG and the SESG.

With that said. I find Ebay to be more of a guide or advertising tool. Most of the time the bikes that have a price that are to good to be true usually are. I have bought and sold several cars/motorcycles through Ebay. Most of the sales were after the auctions were over. It amazes me at how many auctions end early or at he last minute you get outbid then find the same item back up on Ebay 2 weeks later. Its almost like a good source of entertainment. Patience is the key with Ebay, eventually a real deal will come about on there.

DEAL IS DONE got him down $400.00 more paid 19,800.. Love this bike, bad news is severe thunderstorms all day, looks like tomorrow also.  Hoping to get a break in weather by this weekend

Just bought my 2008 Anniversary SERK with 900 miles for $20k.  I've seen a couple go on eBay past couple of weeks for $18k with 4-5k miles...

But, I would not discourage you from going to the SEUC...I love my Amber, but the SERK is more fun to ride around town.

I've got about $34-$35 in mine, less than 8,000 miles and I wouldn't sell it for less than $28, so you got a heck of a deal.
