Question Regarding HID Conversion Kits
« on: June 19, 2010, 09:20:48 PM »

Ok so I want to do the HID Conversion and i was thinking of using Xenonlink.  So I emailed them my bike information (2007 Harley-Davidson FLHTCUSE2 Screamin’ Eagle Ultra Classic Electra Glide) and this is the reply I got.

Hello,

For this bike, you will need the H4 Bi-Xenon HID conversion kit.    The brightest white is 5000k.

Sorry we do not have a solution for the pass lamp yet,  we should have it in about 6 weeks.

If you have any further questions please let us know.

So these are my questions. Does anyone know if this is the right information? I thought I read somewhere in here that the bulbs were H9 and H11 for my bike but not sure.  If this is the right information, do I need to purchase two of these since I have two bulbs (One for low and one for high beam). I just do not want to spend the money and get the wrong parts. The reason I was thinking of going with this company is because they are working on making a kit for the passing lamps. So my thinking was when they finally made it I could get my lights to match.

If there is something better out there or someone has another suggestion I am open to it. I just want to make sure I get all the right parts.

Yours is not a single H4 bulb.  You'll need the two bulb kit for the H9/H11 style bulbs.

Yeah that s what I figured whoever emailed me from that company did not give me the right info. Now I just have to figure what kit from them will fit the bike. Wish they would have put a phone number on their website.
