Sticky Grips

How do I keep my hand grips from becoming sticky?  Besides wearing gloves.  I searched this topic and found a post from 2004 that was never answered.  Is there a fix?

Once the grips are getting sticky, unfortunatly there is no way back and your hands will get stained after a long ride... :-\

You have to protect your grips from bug remover sprays and those kind of stuffs when you wash your bike (wrap the grips with rags or plastic bags)

I guess it's time for a new pair of grips! :bananarock:
