My, Yes I do have a wife, Carole, and I drove to JC's and Terrie's Chevron meeting place at 65th Street and Hwy 50 in Sacramento, arriving at 4:29 for our 4:30 (pm this time) gas up meeting. Lot's of traffic heading up the hill but we made it. Somehow I left the camera charger at home so the camera died in Virginia City and we can only rely on JC's photos back. Plus with this camera if you change the flash options they appear to stay set instead of defaulting back to auto after powering off. Flash uses the juices.
After getting the new Garmin Zumo 665 I did not run the CD with the local maps downloads. I thought there would at least be old maps but was wrong when I tried certain locations. Seems to work after downloading them last night. Making progress on using the Bluetooth I think but still have a couple of setup scenarios to tryout. I wanted to have Cellular to my wifes helmet and got that, Music to both helmets and got that if I used a patch cord to mine, Helmet to Helmet comm and didn't get, and GPS comm to my Helmet which I did get. Somehow I ended up getting Helmet to Helmet comm with Bluetooth music to her and patch cord music to me because I could hear the windsucking noise from her helmet into her mike into my ear. I was going Firkin and Fox nuts. After the frustration of this begins to ruin the ride I just point my left middle finger straight up move it in the air, search for the Bluetooth power button for 20 seconds and push in until it shuts off. The middle finger cannnn bring satisfaction and pleasure. I'm getting pretty good at memorizing the "tools, scrolldown, bluetooth, bluetooth enable/disable buttons" on the GPS as well. I will someday have all of this figured out without the use of a manual as well.
The wobbling in my bikes front-end continued as well so took it into the local Harley Dealership. They tightened the neck bearing three turns, greased it and threw on a new tire as they said the model-08 on it had cupping. Always glad to help the local economies when visiting.

What a difference, especially at straight slow speeds and fast curves. JC, Terrie and Rich waited there with Carole and I for 1.5 hrs even after I tried to persuade them to go see the Car Shows going on in Carson.

Good folks.

Nobody wants to listen to people gab on these POSTS so I guess I'll get on with some...
