I was at Lee Parks Total Control practice today, and I thought I would push my 08 SERK a little harder.. I was doing figure 8's fully positioned over w/ the knee scraping. Well I hit the physical limitations of the bike and the floor board) caught (and stupid me didnt gas it to bring it up).. She skidded w/o me for about 20 feet and you can see the kickstand (or floorboard) mark in the concrete.... Picked her up and she feels streight. Continued tracking at scary angles and she would track true (I had a instructor ride her)
When I went to go home I noticed one highway peg was higher then the other. Upon looking the moustace bar is tweeked higher on one side. the only part I can see bend is where the bar connects to the lower frame. The chrome tab (on bar) is bent a tad....
Rode home @ 75+ for 60 miles and no problems....
Thoughts, ideas etc??? Anyone selling a moustace bar?
The instructor who saw me said I was over farther then the goldwing, and I was using knee pads... (ok I know she is not a rice rocket!!!)
