Altugo, I am also looking for detachable bags that I can use in conjunction with a sissy bar,
with the T-Bags I'll have plenty of storage for a short trip, and a backrest to beat, just as this refined looking rider is displaying.

Sandy,

I need to get two front wheels done in chrome. I was going to buy the stock black wheel and have them chromed.

Can you find out what chrome shop did the wheels?

Or who is the H-D dealer you used to get it done?

Thanks ,

Dean

I went with the Black & Chrome 6 spoke wheels. I felt it would give the bike a little contrast from the all chrome look.

The wheels look good with the black in them, Hotrodracer.  AHHHH, DECISIONS!!!
On a separate note, how do you like riding with pegs as compared to the floorboards?

I will take the pegs anyday!! I never did like the floorboards that much. I want to raise the Beast 1" front to rear next. I think that will allow me to turn into turns better without scraping everything.

Very nice look racer, thanks for the pic.  The forward control setup looks great [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  AussieMike also has this setup on his 05.

The dealer that had them done for me was Frazier's Harley-Davidson in Buford, GA. Bill or Ralph Frazier.  www.fraziersharleydavidson.com  I believe they sent them down to somewhere in Miami, FL to a large chrome shop. Took about 6/8 weeks to get them down and back. If you check their web site they should be a contact number or email addy where you can contact them and poissibly find out who they use. The work looks great, like they were made this way originally. Good luck. :) Sandy

When I read that, I didn't think those would look all that good. But from the pic I can see that they actually look great on the bike. Does add some nice contrast to the bike. Good going. :) Sandy

Hey! Tanker
I bought some bags off a heritiage softail from ebay new never used, there a big bag but I have the V&H Big Radius so no pipe problems, with a quick release just the turn of the key and there off, here's a Pic not a great one, if intetested let me know and I'll take more.
Oh! and as you can see no turn signal problem also.

Could you post a pic of the right side, iselbulls?  I'm interested in how low the bags go.  I have Big Shots Staggered, so I don't think the bags would come too close.  Plus those bags look like they can hold quite a bit. Thanks!

If any one needs a set of the Heritiage Softail bags, I have two sets, new off 2000 bikes.

Have all the parts from the swing arm back.

Bikes had 20 miles on them when we converted them to trikes.

I would be interested in knowing which detachable hardware you used to add the bags. I have some really nice bags already, but haven't ordered my detachable hardware yet. Thinking of using the bare backs system or ghost brackets. Also how do you like the way the bags attach and detach, is the system holding up good etc...? :) Sandy
