Excellent choice GC [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  What mods did you have done before brining her home.

Last one. The rain finally let up today, so I got my maiden voyage in. Absolutely love this bike. I think I hit a home run with the 6 sp and the 3.37 gearing. The tranny shifts like butter. The motor is quiet, no clacketty clack, all the heated stuff worked great, got the XM hooked up and tuned to Bluesville. Made 125 miles before I had to quit. Got home and drained all three holes. Did have some metal shavings on the tranny plug. I guess from the grinding to do the install. The V&H duals w/classic turndowns are a little louder that I had wanted, but it's a very deep, classic Harley sound, so they will probably be keepers for now. Overall, very pleased. Only complaints are the backrest, and more importantly, I did notice a feel at 60 mph that I didn't like. Not really a wobble, but a feeling like you are on ice. Need more miles to fully test. Can't help but think of GolfPros problems w/handling. Tomorrow I'll double check shocks pressure, tires, motor mounts, etc. Even that didn't put a damper on my positive experience. This bike is so tight, no rattles, squeaks or brake noises. Ready to go again tomorrow.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

fatboy, my mods that were dealer installed were:

6 speed
3.37 gearing
chrome inner primary
auto primary adjuster
Panacea tailights and turn signals
Saddlebag LED lites
Saddlebag latch lites
V&H duals w/classic turndowns
Air cleaner
SERT w/map #36  Thanks FR8TRN

When I got it home I added or subtracted:

Took off the heel shifter
Took off the strap on the passenger part of the seat
Added my battery tender and Gerbings connections to the battery
Chrome trim rings on Headlites and spots
Changed windshield to taller CeeBailey for winter
Added my windshield pouch bags form last bike
Replaced paper air filter w/K&N
Moved tour pack back
Removed antennea whips and replaced w/Auto Zone shorties
Added Kuryakyn dually mount adjustable higway pegs
Washed it twice and have ridden in rainy type weather twice.  LOL

GC_Super,

Congrats on your new ride! Nice add-ons also [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
I see nobody asked, but how is the paint? Do they have the issue taken care of or is there still a problem?
I hope it's all good...

Take Care,

Grover

Looks good GC_Super! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
Had to ride mine in the rain today to take to the dealer for the 1,000 mile tune-up and get my saddlebag spoiler LED lights installed. I didn't mind though, just glad to be on bike. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]
I know you will put many happy miles on yours. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]
