I also swore that after adding the coated pipes that walking around my bike the exhaust got hotter.......

bike idling the exhaust seemed to be hotter.....

in the past the heat would not get my attention,

now the heat out the back will let you know something is going on.

This really the only indication that the coating may help.....

The heat doesn't dissipate as much and goes out the exhaust.....

The bike is still very hot...........but take a Boss Hoss out for a ride and you will change your mind what really hot is....

Coated my pipes at about 1500 miles on the '09 SERG. As others have opined .... not sure about heat reduction in this application but they sure do look perty  ;)

Any issues with re-installation of the O2 sensors after the pipes were coated.  Just wondering if I have to chase the threads with a tap after the pipe is coated.

When they coated mine, they put plugs in before coating so the threads were not coated....

I have the Rush True Duals head pipe, they are coated from factory. I felt alittle difference after the change. Had a cat in stock unit. I have a 2010 Limited..
