    • CVO2: 2015 Ducati Monter 821- Star White

Have a 2009 SERG- got it used 3 months ago, added the fullsac x pipe, 2.25" fullsac baffles, and the TTS with a map from Fullsac.

Made a difference- runs very smooth, no decel popping at all, doesn't run too hot (although the cylinder cut out has activated a few times when in traffic), but I think it could use some improvement when you wack the throttle, as there is still a bit of a lag, IMO. Like I said it is an improvement from before the x pipe and TTS (had just the Fullsac baffles and catless headpipe and no tuner before), but I think (hope) it will be worth the dough to maybe make me feel completely satisfied with the performance, and give me the piece of mind that it is running as good as it can.

The shop is reputable, and although he pushes the PCV, he says he is comfortable tuning with the TTS.

I'll advise of the results...I hope to make an appointment this Thursday  :2vrolijk_21:

Let whoever tunes your bike your concerns about the lag, throttle response and whatever you can think of to suit your riding style.
The TTS is very flexible to cover riding style and road manners, just let them know!
With your map in hand after the tuning, you will have everything and you can always "tweak" it a bit to suit you.

Let us know how it comes out.

I'm in almost exactly the same boat and am taking my bike in to Fairbault HD next Wed.  Is there anything I need to tell the tuner?  I.E.  Want better gas mileage, HP, Torque or does it all work hand in hand??

Do you mean a copy of the fuel map? Should he give me a back up copy of the map on a CD or by email?

I go in today for my appointment, and the tuner does a dyno run with an AFR analysis. Tells me to save my money- the Fullsac map I have is a very good map, and that he won't be able to do much better. He said if you want to see another hp or two on a dyno run, come back when it's not so hot and humid out, lol.

So it costs me $80.00 instead of $350.00- this proves two things :

1) The tuner is honest

2) Fullsac knows their stuff!!

Please let me know your opinions on the look of the map and the ratio- I don't know much about it, but I think the flat line in the AFR is a good thing?

He also thought it was unusual that the best numbers were in the sixth gear run? (94.40 hp/110.14)

I'm pleased- as I said before, the bike runs well, and any little lag I spoke about before is likely because of TBW (I'm used to cable throttles).

You can change that to suit yourself with TTS. look under "throttle blade control".

Thanks for the feedback. I've been VERY pleased with my Fullsac setup and Steve's map. And yes, it's comforting that he knows his stuff.

I know of more than a couple of guys that have came up to Nor Cal to get their bikes dyno tuned.  Make a Sat. morning appt. and head out Friday right after work.  Be back home late Sat. night if you wanted to. :nixweiss:
