SERG Front Rotor Bolts
« on: July 14, 2010, 04:57:14 PM »

I noticed that they are not same as most of the HD bikes, they are shouldered. Where can I purchase them in chrome?

The rotor bolts are the same as the V-Rod.  I ordered polished stainless bolts from Alloyboltz.  Check out the difference on the rotor and caliper (both mounting and through bolts).  Love those bolts-loaded the bike with them and never rust or need polishing  :2vrolijk_21:

Is that caliper emblem stock to the bike or from some other use/place and you added it there?

Had not noticed that emblem before.  Have those calipers here for the SERK project.  And the "other" normal emblems already bought and paid for.  Chit....   Ok, someone give me a part number.  Buttheads.

Just remember stainless bolts are softer. I wouldn't use them in critical areas.

Borrowed the writeup from Alloyboltz webpage.  Doesn't seem that the bolts should be softer than original.

This is all that can be chromed on the front wheel area! A few parts have to be sent to chromer as HD doesn't offer them.

PMG,

There's always something to be done.  How about a flush axel?   :nixweiss:   :huepfenlol2:   :nixweiss:   :huepfenlol2:  Chrome, of course!
