Same pipes multiple slip on's
« on: July 24, 2010, 12:03:30 PM »

Does anyone have any info from their true dual, minus cats with several different slip ons. I've tried Rush, Fatshots and Jackpot Carbon Fiber. Dyno'd with last 2. Lost 3 hp with Jackpots plus they were way loud. Trying not to buy every one out there. Looking for good rumble not too loud with good perf. Fatshots may be restricting but maybe not. On a 2010 seuc

Sorry I don't have any info but was wondering what your thoughts were on the Rush mufflers. I am considering those for my 09SEUC. I have already bought some catless headpipes from a site member but have not installed them yet. Thanks

Rush are good pipes. You can change the baffles in them snd they have a good sound. I've had them on 2 bikes. I just liked the looks of the Fatshots and thought the Jackpots would be cooler(temp.). I have Rush ceramic coated true duals and I like them for performance and heat.

I've a 2010 SEUC with Fullsac X-pipe and Rush slashcut mufflers w/2.5" baffles. Love the sound and look.

Take a look at the BUB 7 Stealths.  Not too loud and a nice rumble.  Best I've found and I've tried a bunch.  Didn't hurt my performance either.  I have a '03 SERK with a stock 103".  Just a Big Sucker and the BUB Stealths.  93 hp and 97 torque.

Hey Chilly, I am looking for a deep tone/sound. Is that what yours sounds like? The 2.5" baffles are not to loud you can still hear radio? Or do you just turn radio volume up higher? LOL My friend has Rush w2.0" on his 96"UC, I like the tone and loudness of his. Thanks

Vance and Hines Hi Outputs are very deep sounding with 4.5 in cans.  I wasnt sure I liked them at first but they are really growing on me.  They are not a lot of crack but more throaty growl when you jump on it and they settle into a deep purr when cruising.

Aren't they still a small diameter muffler? I thought they were coming out with a 4" diameter to go with the the look of the CVO exhaust cut outs?

yes they are smaller diameter but the sound is big.You can take your stock 4" mufflers and put the fullsac baffles in them and get more sound and power out of them. Just take your baffles out and put thiers in.

The 4" cans are now available from Rinehart...quieter and and a deeper tone than the 3.5" cans from Rinehart...I'm "thinking" about getting them...classic Rinehart look!

I put Rush 1.75 baffles on my CVO & am Very Happy with the Sound, Look & My Dyno,  from 1 to a 10 I rate these a 6 on loudness scale.
I did put my heat shields back on these Rush Mufflers also to get that bigger look.

Rinehart has not yet updated their website but give them a call because they are available...also, you can get them from some of the forum vendors.
