Knowing Anne....she probably took more than that...I know they got home pretty late...heavy traffic...and lots of lane splitting. Roger and I didn't get home til 830...so they probably made it by 930 or so. I'm sure Chris will post some when he gets a chance...great weekend...Loved seeing you and Soozie of course!!! Nice to have such a beautiful chase car along!!

Great weekend with great friends (again).  Taking the class for the second time was a lot easier than the first time through.  I guess that I am getting better!  I got a lot out of the class again, broke a few bad habits, and became a better rider.  I STRONGLY recommend this class,  Everyone, regardless of experience, will benefit from this class!  Call Mark and sign up!

Well of course it was  great seeing us what is a ride without us  :huepfenlol2: the car was a blast but we sure wish we could have been riding, but the only bike set up for two up is the Cherry bomb and it's at Jims for an over haul  :2vrolijk_21:  Ernie I told Chris when he's ready for his second good around we might be so we all can do it over again!

Who really misses those days?

To keep riding then, you either had to be a skilled mechanic or had a good friend that was one........

If you had resources (money) you did not need to ride those.............

Had to carry oil and tools

What a PIA

That is what made me ride Honda back then...............I liked to ride more than wrench

That oil looks nice and clean, HD still had chain oilers back then...I shut mine off and lubed the chain with modern molylube...It dosent leak until the primary cup is full, then I tip it to the right and drain it..Its a beaut!   :2vrolijk_21:

That was how we changed the oil back in the day.  As it leaked out the bottom, we just poured more in the top. ;D

We had a great time with everybody. Very nice of Don and Soozie to pick Marty up at the Airport, take him to Jim's and cage it down to Morrow Bay for lunch with us. Chris and Ernie did great in Mark's "Ride Like A Pro" class :2vrolijk_21: Looks like I'm going to have some competition when they start practicing. Always fun to see some of the SoCal Crew. Thank you for your hospitality  :2vrolijk_21: Mark's class is always great! Even though I've been to a few, I still learn something from him even from just listening. Long trip back after lunching with Marty and Paula. Splitting lanes for 30 + miles (after riding close to 400 miles) due to Laguna race traffic and Gilroy garlic festival was a tad frustrating >:(

I have to say Anne and I had a fantastic weekend  :bananarock: It was just great being with our friends  :2vrolijk_21: This NorCal krew is just an amazing bunch of people!!!

Marty and Paula sharing there home with Ernie, Roger & Mel, Anne and I all spending the night and getting up at 4:45 so they could ride to "Ride Like A Pro" with us. You Guys are Ace's in my book  :2vrolijk_21:

Dave and Donna along with Van riding out to Morro Bay to meet us for lunch, thank you, it made our day!!!

Ernie, always there for us, wether it's on the road or in the class you are always there with a smile  ;D

Don and Soozie you really followed us in style, thanks for brightening up our day!

Mark, I have to say I was a little apprehensive about taking the course but you made me feel very comfortable and at ease so I could at least try to follow you. I ended up having a whole lotta fun and feel like you have helped me become  a better rider. For anyone who has the oppurtunity to take Marks course do not pass it up!!! You will have fun and learn some cool things about riding :2vrolijk_21:

Well I guess that leaves Roger & Mel, you guys know how much we enjoy our friendship. And if it wasn't for Roger advising Anne to get me the "Ride Like A Pro" class for Christmas this great weekend would not have happened, at least for us it wouldn't have. So thanks again for just being who you are  :huepfenjump3:
