Parts needed for Garage Door Opener Install
« on: July 26, 2010, 11:02:01 PM »

I am getting ready to install the HD garage door opener kit on my 2009 SERG, and do NOT want to cut any wires.  Can anyone give me parts numbers of switches or connections from Harley that will make it a NO CUT install.  I have searched, but cannot find this information that I have previously seen on this site before.

Thanks,

Glide Boy

Get 70423-98.  It's the Y adapter that goes from a single H4 (or other) style headlight plug to dual plugs.

Use its male end to plug in to one of the existing headlight plugs.  Take one of its female ends to the bulb.  Use its other female end to make your GDO connection.  You can make it all plug and play this way without ever tapping or cutting the stock harness.
