no more patch cable for the zumo

Road Tech™ Navigation Interface Module

Available exclusively for Harley-Davidson® Road Tech™ zumo Navigation Systems. The Navigation Interface Module will provide an integrated link between the fairing-mounted Advanced Audio Radio and a Road Tech™ zumo 660 or 665 GPS Navigator. When linked, the music volume will automatically drop when a GPS spoken command is detected, allowing you to hear the command through the radio speakers or the 7-pin communications-style headset. The module attaches directly to the radio, is concealed within the fairing, and does not require connection to the "AUX" input on the radio faceplate, allowing you to listen to a portable music device through your auxiliary input. Kit includes adaptor cable that permits stereo sound from the zu¯mo's internal MP3 player or XM® Radio.

76000024

IN-STORE PURCHASE ONLY Contact dealer for pricing and availability.

Fits '06-later Touring models equipped with the Advanced Audio system and a Road Tech™ zumo 660 GPS Navigator P/N 92115-09 or Road Tech™ zumo 665 GPS Navigator P/N 76000014. '06-later FLHX, FLTR, FLTRX, and FLHTC models and those not equipped with Wiring Harness P/N 70169-06 require the separate purchase of Connector Kit P/N 69200033. Does not fit with Advanced Audio Hands Free Cell Phone Kit P/N 76408-06.

MSRP US $149.95

I too am wondering about the amp???  I looked hard at the pics of the RGU, but could not tell for sure.  Would be very nice if they did away with that huge antique looking piece of junk of an amp.  Would make the detachable tourpak much easier to accomplish.

Don't you think they will just introduce various colors down the road like the Black?

I'm kinda diggin the 103 Road Glide Ultra...

Dissapointed the GPS interface works only with th 660 series, I'd like to have that for the 550.

Also, a new plug/play for tour pak turn signal conversion.

Not sure the patch cable will go if you want to use MP3 or XM?

What does Harley have against the detach tour pak?  You would think they would have at leaston on the Road Glide.

Let's just say I won't be an early adopter of this one.  I certainly hope you're right, though!

Looking at the HD site it looks like they dropped the XM option for the FLHTCUSE6.  It looks like the 660 GPS does NOT have XM.  I wonder if one was to buy a 665, would it mount up on the new bracket?  Wyoming just does not have too many decent radio stations to listen to!

You would need to replace the GPS mount, but it would bolt right up to the dash mount on the bike.  They are almost identical, but the 660 mount will not work with the XM antenna, even though they look almost identical.  You would also have to enlongate the hole slightly for the 665 cable.
