The New 2011 CVO Street Glides Are Out
« on: July 27, 2010, 03:05:07 PM »

I'm glad I bought My 2010 Spicey Rum, I don't like any of the new colors or prices for two more speakers.

Welcome to the site.... When you get a chance you should go to this board - New Member Introduction and start a thread to introduce yourself.

Glad you're happy w/your bike (as I am w/mine) but I can't say I don't like the new colors... I think they did good!!! If I were looking to get a new bike I definitely would be happy with this years colors. :2vrolijk_21:

I don't judge colors from photographs, but most look quite stunning in person and sunlight. That being said, I am so glad I jumped on the Tequila Sunrise when I did.

The two extra speakers are not a must, but the IPOD setup looks nice...and it implies it can be controlled from the handlebars controls--that would be really nice....but $1500 more for that?????  And a cool looking gas gauge--that won't be accurate anyway....

Love the new stereo, love the new tank--looks like a whole new bike with that tank. Add the LED headlight and you have a good touring machine. imho

I'd like to have the I-Pod connection, but for $400 I'll pass.

But at a 20% off dealer it would only be $320.......still a lot......but if you add the IPOD cable to the radio that's $100, then a riders claw for another $100...so for another $120 you can leave it in your waterproof saddlebag and get handlebar controls.

Love the paint scheme on the Black / Orange... Contemplating what new tins or a new paint job would cost...

And for that you get lowers, ipod in the saddlebag, 2 additional speakers, and probably a few other little things we can't see from the info we have. Aren't the lowers worth about $1,500?
