All done! 2.25", Xpipe, NICE! For me, probably the best sounding pipes I've ever had. Like a low growl. Perfect for around town rumble and out on the road touring (guessing on the touring as I only rode about 10 miles home and seemed fine). Will hold on to the 1.75's just in case.  :P  :drink:

gaphatty, If you don't care about your stock baffles, cut the end of them off a little(after you take off the end cap ) and it will be much easier to get into the pipe to grind off the welds on the stock baffles. Good Luck CAHDBIKER

I could not decide either so went with the 2.0 inch and like the result.  The hard part of the stock muffler removal is just getting to those welds - I had a 90 degree angle grinder and a long burr bit that would allow pretty good access; you don't want to grind through the muffler body.  Others have tried dremel tools but I think they're a bit weak for the application.

Since the last post. I have returned from the Middle East and installed the Fullsac x-pipe, 2" cores and tts master tune with Steve's map. And I could not be any happier with the sound and performance. I had Rineharts true duals on a 02 ultra and the setup I have now to me sounds better. Steve is the man!!!

Good idea - would have made access much easier, but I just toughed it out; I 'could say' I was unsure whether I might need the baffles again and therefore wanted to preserve them - the truth is that I did not think of that!! :nixweiss:
