I'm with you.  I had a deposit on an Orange/Black SESG2 (which I know will be sweet looking) but when they wheeled a Black/Crimson outside for me to take a good look at today, it blew me away and I bought it instead.  It's really very striking but in a different way from the other 3 color schemes this year.  Much more subtle but very rich.  And when the sun hits it, the crimson accents glow.  Very unique. And everything seems to work beautifully from a color/styling standpoint...at least for me.  I'm pretty pumped about it.  Going to put on V&H Power Duals and High Output chrome mufflers, SERT, remove the reflectors fore and aft, and add a Kuryaykn curved license plate bracket to get things started.  Should be on the road in about a week.  I'll be sure to post some pix.

OK Jeff, it is a looker.
My thought is that if you want it and can afford it then you should buy it.
I listened to the WTB D/A rant and rave for two years about the 110 POS and bought one anyway.
Having a good dealer as I do has helped but it's been a challenge.
It's not a mountain that can't be overcome but compared to almost any 06 and earlier it needs some help.
Knowing the issues upfront puts you in a great position.
I wish you luck with a potentially great bike.
My 09 is getting close to being a great bike, but it took time and patience. (and I'm known for my patience, as long as I get it now.  )

I may have missed somebody's post about this, what gauges were taken out and which ones remain in order to have the tweeters in the top two holes on the dash
