Finally adding pics of my SE Fatboy

Finally got around to adding photos of my Fatboy.  I added V&H Bigshots Staggered, a LePera two-up, and H-D passenger pegs.  Next is a new air cleaner and H-D slotted six-spoke wheels.

Thanks all.  She's my new love and joy...just don't tell my truck....oh, er... or my girlfriend.  Yeah, I didn't realize what an eye sore the base permit stickers were until I put them on.  I plan on making a detachable plate that I can put the new base stickers on once I move.  But until then, I have to live with those annoying stickers.   >:(

I just had to deal with the %@$##!&&^%$! base sticker issue. The reg says they have to be "affixed" (and specifically states that the decals are NOT to be placed on the front fork ... at least here on Peterson AFB)... doesn't say how. I went to a hobby store and bought a clear plastic photo display holder that was all magnetic on the back. I put the stickers inside and double sided taped it shut and trimmed it to just the size of the stickers. Now I stop somewhere just before the gate and put it on my left front fender. When I get off base, I just stop & take it off. The magnetic backing is the soft kind like you put on the refrigerator so it doesn't scratch the paint and it stays on just fine while I'm on base.
Bummer you had to stick the decals on your front fork. Beautiful scooter!

I have kept all my old/take-off parts for my SEEG. Not sure if I'm accumulating parts to one day have a swap meet? [smiley=confused5.gif] Maybe it's because nobody (boss/wifey/better half) has told me to get rid of some of the junk yet. ;D Maybe it's in the hopes that one day I may have enough parts to build a bike. [smiley=nixweiss.gif] Anyway I guess it's a personal preference thing. Keep what you want, keep what you have room to store, and keep what you are "allowed" to keep. :D
