Who's Jenny? Will she give me 20% off?

Yes she will give you 20% off list. Tri County H-D 513-874-4343, She is great to work with, I just bought over 2,000.00 worth of parts less 20%

This came on my SERK, and just replaced the fuel cap itself for the second time, the first one flew apart in pcs. this one would turn and unlock but would not pop up. And thats a heck of a feeling sitting at the gas pump on E.  :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

2010 Inferno Orange.
What's the correct part number for the FLSTSE? I purchased a 62823-08A (chrome for Softail) from Jenny and it doesn't fit. The gas cap is a lot longer than the stock one. The O-Ring is also smaller. Thanks.

I have them on my new bike, I like the look, but wish the fuel cap clicked and think they could have done a little better than the 'smiley face' gas gauge when the tank is full

Thanks. The book says the one I got is for 08 and up Softails also. I guess you can't believe everything you read. Thanks again. I ordered the correct one.

So how simple was it to remove the gage? I have the set on the way and it looks simple to install.

Installed mine today. I did not remove the tanks or the bolts. I just unclipped the wire from the bottom of the tank and pulled the harness down to access the connector. Getting the pins out was the hardest part. I used a T-Pin to slide down the connector housing and un-latch the pins. It didn't take more that a half hour. I also did not disconnect the battery. It looks great.

Same here. About 30 minutes. I used one of the wife's sewing needles to remove the pins from the old connector of the Gas Gauge. I coulda done it in 15 minutes if I just cut off the old connector and threw the old gas gauge away (that's what I did on my old Dyna).

I went with the chrome set. Couldn't get the pins in the old plug to come out for nothing so I snipped then. If I put the oem gage back in for sale or trade i'll just crimp them. Entire process took 10 minutes and I luv it.

I have to get the chrome set .. I installed it on my old SEFb and it wasnt too hard. Had to cut the stock  plug off though. I think the blue lights will look great with the blue bike. Wish I could find a way to change the stock guage lighting to blue as well..... research time...

Too bad they don't match the speedo light color to the paint and have the fuel gage available to match also. But that would make too much sense.
