Tour Pak on O/B 2009 SERG
« on: August 08, 2010, 11:01:39 PM »

:orange: Did the pre-fit tonight and will finish of the final in the next coming days or should I say nights.  Looks like I will be using one of George Anderson's relocator kits to move it back farther and up a little higher.  My wife is 6 foot and the backrest seat will be too low in her back(tested with the chopped tour pack backrest).  A few mods to do yet!  Still waiting on my backrest seat to send it to Chuck at C&C to match the rest of the seats. Will post more pics when done.  For those asking where I got the paint job done, well I can thank LarryB for the matching Lowers and the Tour Pack.  Great Job on both!  Undecided on the emblem location, either as shown on below the Harley Davidson banner on back of pack.  Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks!  Also working on the hole location and disconnect area for bike to pack wiring(hidden).

Tried posting this last night, but my forum skills are a bit 'challenged'.  Your paint looks factory...nice job.
Thought I'd show a picture of mine (first posted in April).  Different graphic layout, but the same great result.  Buried the antenna into the fairing, and i can strip the T/P, change the Touring seat and windshield back to Klockwerks in no time flat...love it.  I carried the graphic into the lowers a bit different too.  Have had dealers doing laps around this bike trying to figure out how they missed out on this model.  What did you use for speakers in the lowers?

1Orange Eagle: thanks for the comments on the tour pack.  I like your design also, different and individualized.  That's what these bikes are all about each has their own personality shown on the things we do to these great machines.  As far as the speakers, I got my dash and lowers and bag speakers from Terry Williams of HawgSounds. He is here on the forum and you can contact him directly.  Terry makes all of his speakers for these installations.  He also came to my home in Texas for 4 days and we built out the bike and even showed it up at one of the Harley dealers when we finished with the stereo system.  Terry is a great individual and really knowledgeable.  Contact him you will be very pleased with the sound.
