Going with Fullsac X-pipe and baffles for new FLHXSE2
« on: August 09, 2010, 08:29:35 PM »

I bought a new 2011 SESG.  I've been a long-time customer of Fullsac Performance and Steve has always been fair and his knowledge, products and ideas are very good. I've cut the cat out of my last three CVOs and had all of them powder coated. From all the data I've seen, the x-pipe and v&h headpipe, using fullsac baffles, improve performance over the catless stock headpipe with fullsac baffles by about 4% H.P.

After considering the options, which for me is cutting out the cat, then paying the expense of ceramic coating, plus downtime, or going with a v&h headpipe and paying for a coating, or the X-pipe, which comes coated, I've decided to try an x-pipe and use the 2" fullsac baffles. The price is very reasonable for cvoharley forum members. I want to keep the look of the new billet end caps so new mufflers are not an option. I also bought my 4th or 5th TTS Mastertune dongle from him. Looking forward to putting it all together and seeing how the numbers turn out on the dyno.

Has Steve finished with his 2011 calibrations for the TTS yet? If not... hang on before you do your mods. The 2010 calibrations will not work on the 2011 bikes.  :nixweiss:

Oh really? Why not? I checked the part no.s of the headpipes & and they are identical to 2010 cvo touring bikes. Going from '09 with AFRs to '10 with Lambda made '09 calibrations incompatible with '10 models. What radical change did HD do to make 2011s not compatible with 2010 bikes?

It's not the pipes, I use the Fullsac and baffle combo with the TTS on my SESG but it's a 2010.. it's the new 2011 throttle body set up. All new calibrations are required and Steve Cole (TTS) has been working on getting them completed. I don't think they are ready as of yet. The last I heard it will be a few more days.
