2009 FXDFSE

just want to say hello to everyone.

I recently put down a couple of thousand for a brand new 2009 CVO FAT BOB, haven't picked it up yet as the wife and I are getting ready to move(the dealer, where we are moving to has it on their floor and will be holding it for me).  I sold my road king custom and bought a boat(3 years ago) and the itch came back, well really never left!  The boat has been fun but can't wait to ride my new CVO!

I'm going thru the threads now, but if anyone has any comments on the 2009 CVO Fat Bobs please pass them on, I'd greatly appreciate any lessons learned, problem areas...anything to look out for.  My 05 Road King was great, even after hitting a deer at 50 MPH and after repairs, the bike road like a dream...no engine probs, no probs what so ever, so I am really looking forward to owning the CVO, and hopefully problem free!

Welcome to the site abearsfan!

I am a new (one week today!!) CVO Fat Bob owner.  I will warn you; short rides don't exist.  I've only had the bike out three times and have almost 400 miles on it.

Then again, I have a rule....if I take the bike out, I go 100 miles.   ;)
