Extra's That Come With A New CUSE
« on: March 05, 2006, 10:49:14 PM »

I finally got the call from my Dealer and my Milkyway CUSE is going to be here on the 15th of March [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]  I know there are supposed to be a number of extra items that come with the bike but are not part of the bike.  As this is my first CVO, I believe they come with some special extras and I don't want to miss-out on anything my "stealer" may forget to pass on.  Could you fellows who have recieved there CUSE's please let me know what I should expect.

Also, garage door receiver,
owners manual and leather cover,
leather document pouch (wheres the best place to mount this?),
tool kit,
leather dressing.

I mounted document pouch inside the right saddlebag.

1 communications headset:  Who does MOCO figure you are going to communicate with when they only give you one (1) of these? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Breaker, Breaker anyone out there I can talk to?  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]
If you have your better half sitting behind you then they expect you to purchase another communications module to enable her to listen to music or to you complaining about having to spend another hundred+ bucks to allow her to wank [smiley=oops.gif] (I mean communicate) at you!

When you set down with your sales person, ask them to include another set at no charge.  The dealer usually has room for some of this but you have to ask!

Man, you guys expect a lot for 32K+, don't you. I was surprised to find a headset in my tourpak at delivery. This is my 3rd Ultra and the first time they have given me a headset. I just hope the intercom on the 06's works better than previous models. If not, the whole thing is worthless anyway. Welcome to the MoCo MoFo MoJo.

Picked up my bike two weeks go tomorrow. Today in the mail I recieved a plaque with a picture of my bike. It says especially made for me, woohoo, and the vin # and date of delivery. I was just thinking that after an almost sevenmonth wait, I walked in and dropped a check for almost 40K, and haven't heard a word from the dealer. No thank you, how do you like it, e-mail or nothing. Hell, even car dealers kiss your ass for a week or so.  LOL

I got a personal thank you card from the Sales Manager within 7 days of delivery, then another card signed by everyone at the dealership.
