She will do just fine starting out with the Rebel and should be ready for a RG for her 18th birthday.  :huepfenjump3:

Please wish your daughter a belated Happy Birthday!

You did great.  And she will enjoy that cool looking ride as she learns to ride.

This is the bike my wife began with 12 years ago and although all her friends referred to it as Hardly Dangerous, it was the best bike for her to start on and she loved it.

When I surprised her a couple of years later with a Low Rider, she thought she would never be able to ride it.

Well, in just 6 years she had put over 90,000 on the dial and moved into an Ultra and is now on her 3rd Ultra!

And it all started on a beautiful little 250 Rebel.

Wish your daughter many years of safe & happy riding for us.

very cool... thanks to everyone for the responses!

Lucky for her, she is alreay 5'11", so if she sticks with riding, she'll have plenty of options for bigger bikes!
