Don

D&D Fatcat, and if you just gotta have it, a ghost pipe.
You heard mine and it's the quiet baffle and you heard Dave's (ABA, I wanna be like Chip someday ;D) he has the performance baffle in his D&D.
And then there's the ol standby like on the 01 SERG, a V&H Propipe. You remember what JC's sounded like?

Hey Don

Why don't you put on a Fullsac XPipe & a Set of SE Mufflers with Fullsac baffles.  You would just have to find a full set of chrome heat shields.  You have to chnage the oil pan to an 09 to do this.  But, it's a great solution.

Don, it took a long time and a lot of thought for me to finally shift from duals on a touring bike to 2-1.  Once I actually used the FatCats I was sold though.  You get used to the look very quickly.  It grew on me enough I like it better now.  And they run great and sound great.

FatCat with quiet baffle in on the SEEG and the SERG and it's what will go on the SERK project when it gets that far.  Just another opinion.

I'm wanting to change the pipes on my SERK as well, Just can't decide what to go with, I'm like Don i just can't get use to the one pipe. I know the D&D perform better but if i go that way which baffle. Quit or performance  :nixweiss:, And i'm also looking at the V&H Hi Outut Slip On's and the new Rhinhart 4" Slip On's   :confused5: Which way to go Performance or Looks  :nixweiss:

If you go with D&D Fatcats be aware that "quiet" is a relative term when describing their baffles.  They're not especially quiet.  Not obnoxiously loud by any means.  Just a good middle sized rumble.

I doubt anyone could have come to the look on a dresser kicking and screaming any more than I did.  They work so well it's easy to give them a chance though.  And it doesn't take too long at all to realize the look is not too bad.

Dan don't know if you had a chance but if you did and heard Chip's (SBB) and Dave's (1abastarsmda) bikes that would be the difference in the quiet and performance baffle. Chip has the quiet and Dave has the performance baffle. The performance baffle will be louder. Dave also has the ghost pipe on the left side if you want to have that look.
