Well mine wasn't in the recall but while I was checking on that I thought id check on a map update. $99.00 for one year and $199.00 for a lifetime. I never thought they'd be that high for an update. I'm I outta line or does that seem a little high? Maybe I'm becoming cheap in my "old" age! :nervous:

Where are you getting those prices from?? Just checked the Garmin site - nüMaps Lifetime and they are showing nüMaps Onetime™: $49.99 or nüMaps Lifetime: $89.99.

I swear that's what I saw on the site. I can handle that pricing.

Thanks for the tip. Mine was recalled. They are sending me a shipping label and will replace the battery. Will take two weeks though.
