Just got an email from John at J&M about what they have planned for the speakers for the lowers on the new SG. Four 7.25 speakers along with the stock tweeters powered by a 500w amp. That is one upgrade that I am looking forward to!!

In a few months, we will release our new 7.25" speaker kit for the lower fairing position, replacing the Harley speakers that you have down there now. Stock tweeters stay in the fairing and add to the overall sound. We will also be releasing a 500w amp (125w per channel X 4) to connect up to all 4 of the J&M 7.25's if you really want to make them rock.
 
I will have more info in a couple of months.

Keep us informed ... not sure how committed I am to changing out the speakers in the lowers, because I'm not convinced I can hear them, but would love to clear up distortion at higher volumes up top (e.g. a better amp and maybe speakers)...  Very cool!
