2011 FLHXSE2 Air Cleaner Options
« on: September 05, 2010, 10:39:26 PM »

I've been searching around trying to find an air cleaner that not only functions good, but looks good as well.

I was looking at the Performance Machine Gasser, Ness Big Sucker etc. I can't find any CFM comparisons to the high flow one that came on the bike.

Anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks for the help.

How do you like the new CVO Street Glide?  I've got one coming in November but will have to wait till then.  Great color combination.  What pipes did you put on it?

I think the large majority of us SESG owners have stayed with the stock air cleaner.  It's already a high flow A/C and is damn nice looking compared to others and doesn't interfere with your right leg.

Use the money for other mods that really will make a diffrence. :2vrolijk_21:

You know what, I agree. I rode my '06 today (1st time in weeks) and I kept banging my leg on the Zippers "deep" filter all afternoon. I was getting irritated every time I left a light and brought my right foot back up. It never bothered me before I got the '11, but it really stood out today.

I like the look of the stock filter on the '11 and if that is all the motor needs air wise, I will stay with that.

Anyone know what the CFM rating on the Ventilator is?

Is it good enough for a Fullsac X-Pipe, Bassani Slipons and a TTS?

Thanks in advance.
