I started with C&P  Telephone in Washington DC 6/24/68, AT&T federal systems 1/1/1984, Lucent Tech 1/1/1996 till 9/30/2000 = 32 years left with pension-,10/1/2000 AVAYA hired back contractor ,5/1/2002 to present Commication Tech Local county Schools & Gov't - working on Second Pension :)

I've been spun off so many times, That's why I'm so Dizzy :)

Only Seven more years to go til I can RE-RE Retire  :2vrolijk_21:

I'm the guy that stuffs cotton balls into pill bottles...then after work I go to my part time job at the hospital, I pull the cotton balls out of the pill bottles...
I used to be an artist, I painted artificial crablegs...
before that, I worked in food processing sucking the fat out of food to make it fat-free...I was one fat sucker...
before that I was a petroleum distillate dispensary technician-I pumped gas...

In all honesty, I operate AutoCad for an civil engineering/land surveying company
Before that I spent 16 years running automotive repair shops
Before that I was a land surveyor

I'm into sports but unfortunately the athletes are the worst.  They destroy the place and because of they're athletic status they get away with it.

I was a Landscape Contractor for 25 years but got out of the hustle and bustle after watching a few hardworking friends die while in their 40's and early 50's. Now I'm an executive handyman/caretaker for a wealthy family. Not sure where the executive part came in, I just like to say it. Much slower paced lifestyle.

Started out as a manufacturer's rep. selling to Industrial Supply stores. Got tired of being on the road all the time so I started a tool store selling high end wood working tools to very high end home builders. It feeds my own obsestion for tools , and my obsession for motor vehicles.

everyone sounds like they have some good jobs. As for me, I've been with UPS for almost 20 years now. I've done everything there a hourly can do at one time or another. I'm currently a professional steering wheel holder for Uncle Buster so if you see me on the road, watch out!

Oh yeah, time to update this. I had been in commercial and industrial air conditioning sales for the past 25 years. Working for both Carrier and York. Mostly involved with Centrifugal and Absorption Chillers. I left York about 2 months ago to work for a friend who started a Chiller Division at a medium sized air conditioning contractor. I'm now involved in Sales and Project Management. I specialize in Design-build Turnkey installations, Energy Analyisis, Retrofits, Chiller Replacements, and Service and Repair. And so far, I'm happy I made the move!!! :2vrolijk_21:
