I served 20 years in the US Navy.  I was an electricain, and retired as an electricanmate Chief.  The last four years in the Navy I was also an Adjunct Professor at Florida Community college teaching industrial electricity and controls.

When I retired from the Navy I went to work for Denso, an auto part manufacture as a Maintenace supervisor.  I lasted almost five years with them, but the 65 hour work weeks were to much for me, and the money was not equal to the work.

2.5 years ago I went to work for a Major Off Shore deep water drilling contractor.  I am an electronics and Programable Logics Controler Tech.  I really like this job, work two weeks, then I am off at home for two weeks.  Pay is very good, and the work is not bad at all.

I have owned my own Commercial/Sports photography business for 14 years. I have been taking photos in one manner or another for twice that. We have a small studio but mostly work for clients on location. I photograph concerts, hotels, houses,  for magazines and ad/promo use. Based out of Western Canada but have clients internationally.
