Victim of the mortgage meltdown.  I guess that makes me either unemployed or temporarily retired.  At least I have some time to doll up my new SE Ultra.

My neighbor was a Cleveland cop til he moved out here to San Diego. Tought job from what he tells me. He retired from the force about 10 years ago after working in the Harbor Police here. That wasn't quite as bad as being on the streets in Cleveland to hear him talk of it. Welcome to the site

Thanks,, the job has it's moments. I found a desk job a few years back, those young guys with their capes on can deal with the "fun".

The capes don't bother me Dave, it's the one's who get out of their cruiser putting on leather gloves that get me going.

Construction Sales Representative....I rent, sell or lease aerial equipment to contractors on commercial or residential job sites.  If the economy keeps going the way it is I may be a "whatever will pay the bills representative".

I'm a chrysler worker at a tourqe converter and steering colum plant.I also get harley takeoff's and shelf pulls from a local dealership,sample's from a screamin eagle shirt factory,and get gears ,softer stabo's and other harley parts made that I sell at swap meets,e-bay and on this site.Ride safe jdo

I've been with the Iowa Department of Corrections (worked, not lived :)) for the last 19 years.  I work in Iowa's only max facility and was recently promoted to Captain about two years ago.

I work as a Project Manager for a construction company which deals with natural disasters. Currently we are on projects in Texas and So.Cal due to the fires and now the rain damage.  Prior to that I built custom homes in the Hollywood,  Beverly Hills area.

Service Manager in a Cad, Olds, Toyota dealership, then had a Western Auto store, one hour photo, and an Amoco gas station (all at the same time) for 15 years. Sold out went back to the dealership for 17 years. We were Cad, Olds, Chevrolet, Toyota, Subaru, VW, Audi, Volvo when I retired. I was Fixed Ops director and Computer admin. Tought part time for a couple of years and now put in around 16 hours a week in the office at a large truck repair shop. Large trucks, not a large shop. 20 employees. Semi Retired !!!
