Here I go again! The Road King is down for repairs. Took it in over two weeks ago for burning oil on the front cylinder. Another blown head gasket (rear last time). ESP is fixing the bike (I hope its fixed this time). My problem is that I have vacation plans for a trip to Maggie Valley next week and the parts are STILL not in and I need to leave soon. I have paid for my cabin as has the couple riding with us. I have not called the warranty company to see if they will help cover a rental. They cover $75 per day when the bike breaks down.  Rental here is $140 a day! Has anyone had this happen and how did it play out?

Does your dealership do rentals?
During my ordeal recently the dealership gave me a rental for the amount the ESP covered. I believe it covered 10 days.

Thanks for the info. Went there today and after some conversation, they ordered the cyl. heat next day so if it comes in correct I should get it home in time to pack and roll. No shakedown time but we should be rolling.

Dealership takes bike apart
Big trip as soon as it comes out of the shop with no local riding for testing
