I know that looks real nice at night time.  I did the same thing with mine, but can't seem to get a decent photo of it.

What kind of lights did you use?  Mine are the Kuryaken, in blue, also.  I've rode with them around the city police and sherriff's but haven't ran up on a CHP yet......not sure if they'll have anything to say, or not.

I ordered my LEDs from www.boogey.com.   I haven't had any issues with law enforcement so far. I have thought about replacing them with purple LEDs to be on the safe side.  Next time I do an install for someone who wants blue LEDs I might make them a deal :)

Speaking of LEDs...I mounted some on the sheet metal below the seat, pointing at the engine, but where are better places to mount?  Thanks.

I have them (11 total) mounted under the fuel tank, inside the horn cover, on the back of the air filter plate, inside the front fender, one on the crash bar and one on a bracket I made that aims it at the back wheel.  And also one on the rear turn signal bracket.

Email me at mochrome@netzero.com and I'll send you a Word document that might help.

I used those places except for the wheels.

I wanted to change all my instrument bulbs to blue, but the speedo, tach and radio have bulit in LEDs making that very difficult, if not impossible.  The air temp, fuel, volt and oil pressure gauge are easy. The stock lights come with an orange sleeve that sildes over the bulb and these are easliy replaced with other colors.

Thought I'd bump this back up to the top.  MoChrome put lights directed towards his wheels, too.

Adios!

In combination with the LEDs available from hd-dude this would put the lighting combination right over the top.  Nice link.
