Here's a few pic's of the Pikes Peek Climb/Descend.  Man this was something that everyone on 2 wheels should do.  Can't wait to do it again.

It's about 1/3 of the way paved.  The bottom portion is paved.  The rest is dirt/gravel.  But it is very hard and packed.  Still a good ride,  not near as rough as you would think.  Anyway riding up you actually ride up thru the clouds.  And since there are no guard rails,  this even makes it more challenging.  I promise you.  If you roll off,  you will fall thru the clouds before you hit the bottom, or where ever you happen to land.  It's a good ride,  if you ever get the chance, TAKE IT

Cool pics! For those of you that don't know they have a Pikes Peak race. Here's a video of a 910hp twin turbo all wheel drive racing up. amazing driving!

And when you get to the top...they have Pike's Peak donuts in the gift shop.
