Dyno Explanation Question
« on: September 15, 2010, 03:17:32 PM »

At some point, several months ago, I saw a very well written explanation of Dyno's and the things to avoid and look for.  It was several pages long and included an explanation of the different smoothing settings and such.  Can anyone link me to this?  I've searched and can't find it.

Not sure what you were looking at before, but here's a basic explanation of smoothing, to me correction factors are a bigger issue when looking at a dyno sheet.

Check out the second link, lots of dyno info.
