SUSE April 4, 2009 My engine has 20.000 kms
The valve lifter of the roll front broke. It there with iron filings in all the hydraulic system of the engine and in the cylinders.
The cams are striped deeply, the oil pump is striped, and we found pieces of metal in the casing and the bearings.
HD France proposes to me to dismount the engine to repair it, and me I ask them for a new engine,
I would like to know if that is to arrive at another person and which was the response of HD

Danyhd76, with all the items in your post you should make it your goal to have HD give you a new engine if you are still under warranty. Also make notes/document all your conversations with your dealer and contact HD directly if you can. Just my opinion and what I would do. CAHDBIKER

New motor.  They just replaced my wife's motor with no questions.  The MoCo made the new motor with her original VIN numbers in it and back to the dealership in ten days.
