James,

You are right I wrote down the exhaust numbers instead of the intake numbers 5015= 46, 5010= 42, 5005= 38.

James .....

everyone has their favorite cam ...... for me, and my FXR4 I couldn't be happier, that I know of, than with the results that I get from the Bob Wood W6 in my bike.

I did the build myself (documented with pictures and text) and here are the results:

max TQ 88.37 @ 4400K RPM
max HP 80.19 @ 5300K RPM

SE heads right out of the box, not polished or touched, still has the power coating on em

.030 head gasket

stock pistons with new rings

stock cylinders, ball honed only

Wood W6 cam

V&H straight Shots

Mikuni 42mm carb, and after market air filter and mounting manifold to the carb

Compu-Fire single fire ignition with rev limiter set to 6000 RPM   ...... even though it stops making power at 5300 RPM having the rev limit set beyond that helps me ensure that I can run it all the way to 5300 (max power) WITHOUT banging into the rev limiter ......

best of luck to you in your search ...... take a look at the specs on the W6 cam

Tim knows of this cam too, he's SCARED of it too       :nervous:
