I have been using this product for over about 10 years now.
It works very well for storage and for ethanol fuels. I use the FP60

I use marine fuel. It is costly but I get better mileage. We meet at the marina to gas up and ride to another marina on the road. Boats can't handle ethanol without stabilizer. I use seafoam for a stabilizer if marinas are not available.

A lot of marinas don't have HI-Test.  No ethanol, but lower octane. :-\  spyder

Additives = waste of money unless you're storing the engine a prolonged period.

Don't know about it but I do know a lot of people, me included, use this (available in local motorcycle shops).

http://www.lilesoilco.com/

I looked on their web site--this Lile's stuff is ETHANOL (they say that in the 'Motorcycles' section).  I sure wouldn't use more ethanol.

Their web site, and the MSDS, won't say what all the ingredients are, just that it's a proprietary mixture.  They do say, though, that one of the ingredients in FP Plus is made from soy--so, after looking at the physical and chemical characteristics, I'm going to say it's a combo of soybean oil, ethanol, and a coloring agent.

It was harder to determine what the original FP is, but it's probably a lubricating oil made from dinosaur juice.

Most alcohols used in fuel additives have a very low flash point and the flash point on the MSDS will offer a clue. Even a small amount <10% or so will lower flash big time if the flash point is 300 or greater there is not enough if any alcohols or ethanol to worry about.
(>300 flashpoint FP60 Plus) (>350 flashpoint FP60)

;D   Gotta love the gullible who make it so easy for the shysters to sell so many products of dubious value.  Unless there is a specific problem, like a gummed up fuel system that you want to clean without removing any parts, I can see no valid reason to dump all sorts of additives into your fuel.  If you want to store your fuel for more than a few weeks, a stabilizer is a good idea.  Other than that, I can think of no good reason to constantly add stuff to the fuel you buy, other than to make some other guy with a flaky product and a good line of BS rich.

2011 CVO with 3,000 miles in North TX.

Recently I was given Service Bulletin M1297 at my dealership which was issued 4/13/2010.  It was to introduce Screamin Eagle Super Octane Boost Part No. 94867-10.  The MoCo is recommending the use of this product during High ambient temperatures with High compression engines to combat the effects of low octane fuels.  I was given two bottles of this new product with the mechanics recommendation to use during these hot summer months until I can make some significant changes to my AFR.  I am anxious to see if it makes a difference.

huh?   The compression ratio on a 110 is listed as 9.15:1.  that's even lower compression than a TC96?
What am I missing here?

And just how did this "mechanic" suggest you make these "significant changes to your AFR" without voiding your MOCO warranty and still be EPA compliant?  Add a tuner, change pipes, air filter?  All of these will work, but will put you on the edge when trying to get warranty work done at a dealer outside of your selling dealer.  You, and the rest of us, have bought a machine that needs major work to get them to run at a reasonable temp under real world conditions.  Don't drink the MOCO cool-aid with their BS excuses for a nuclear heat generator between your legs.

My big complaint these days is that if you let the gas sit too long, it gums up the works. What is the BEST stuff to dump into a gas tank to clean out carbs and fuel systems? Right now I am using Sta-Bil and SeaFoam Green. Are any of the gumout or STP products better at cutting out the varnish and crud?

Anybody tried this yet?

Any suggestions on substitutes?
