« on: September 17, 2010, 12:19:08 AM »

chanigng the oil in my 05 103 i noticed a small amount of metal on the drain plug. i cut open the oil filter and theres quite a bit of silver like paste. doesnt seen magnetic but is a super fine metal like particals. any ideas?? hopefully just something in the cam chest. was running fine with the usual clank and rattles. 55000 miles torrington inner bearings look good, oil pump and lifters look fine, gear drive looks good too. any ideas???
